Davros smiles as he sees the firearm. "Well then," she utters and looks at sharpe to confirm he can take a look at it. As he does so, Davros picks it up and begins looking at the designs. "Well this is surely a fine gun. Though up in global you'll easily be able to upgrade this." he then puts the gun back down. "As for me, I'm not part of the trading guild. I run my own business, don't need their silly rules to bind me down, and they don't do well with selling goods without their fancy licenses and stuff." he pauses when Air asks him the question and turns to her. "Oh, yeah of course." He picks up a similar rifle and presses in to a little indent on the bottom. A clip pops out with two rod-formed catalysts in them. Protraction crystals. "See, these act like batteries from the old world, but are much much more effective. It uses two of these rods to fuel the gun, once one will run out, it will draw power from the other. And these are actually relatively cheap. The gun doesn't run on any ammunition, the catalysts will fuel the spell and you have one of two options. It can shoot a little piercing beam, which needs to be charged first and will shoot a good distance depending on the charge. Though it might take some practice to get used to. And the second mode, which..." he turns the rifle and shows a seperate little panel on the grip which he pushes in with his thumb.
"... If you push down here, and fire, It will create a short burst of protraction that can knock foes away from short to medium range, and if close up even break some bones. This doesn't need to be charged, it's meant for utility- however! It does take up a lot of your charge so without shooting the gun you'll only be able to use it once per catalyst before you need to put in your replacements." he pulls up a bunch of different looking catalysts and puts them on the table. Theyre in their respective clips already and look well maintained. "Now you might be wondering if you need to replace these, and you certainly will, but not after emptying them. They can carry several charges during their life expectancy before they start to crack, though once they do that, you best replace them or they will likely cause the spell to malfunction or even break your gun. As for recharging them, there are various ways, including simply giving them to a magician for a few hours and picking them up later."
Davros' Assistant then nudges him and holds various mechanical parts infront of him. Davros looks at him and shakes his head. The assistant turns back around with an unplesant expression on his face and continues working on whatever it is he was working on. "Anyways, um... Oh right- Bullets well... I only have ammunition for the two rifles I carry. But there are a few other traders in town that might be able to sell them to you, albeit you having to wait, what with the quarantine going on you wont be able to enter the central district for a little while. They say by the end of this week we'll be good to go."
Clarent sighs passively in her sleep as she is being shaked. Her expression turns somewhat disgruntled and she tiredly opens up her eyes, blinking back the blurred images of a dark figure infront of her. Under normal circumstances, her first reaction would have been to draw her knife, lash out at the thing infront of her, and speed out of whatever place she was being held in after that guy took her. She figured it was probably him infront of her, so it would serve him right. But upon thinking further she decides, if she was going to be in any immediate danger, she would have likely been dead while she was out.
"Mnn..." she rubs her eyes a little as her blurred vision focuses bit by bit. She sees the man infront of her. He looks like he's been through some trouble lately, but doesn't strike her as a bad person at all. And he's definately not the man she saw trying to steal women off the streets.
"Who are you?" she asks cautiously, staying in bed to gather her strength, should she need it.
