Recudor: Maid en Voyage #1

Jian looks up to the man, simply nodding, remaining quiet for a second.

"O-of course I would go and find her and make sure she's safe... You can count on me, good sir. About marcus though... If I thnk it is the one I met... He- Well. He is no more. He was part of the huge struggles that were caused, using many people's lives for his own. He held many people hostage and used them for his own goals with never ending ambition, but as people in our county used to say... Ambition is a dangerous poison."

He rubs the tears out of his eyes, and gets a serious look on his face.

"I will find your daughter, I'll promise... Is there anything else you will need me for while i am on my way to find your daughter? If so, I shall take care of that aswell."

He bows once, awaiting the answer of the man.

"No, No. Just bring my daughter back to me. It's all I ask."

With that said he gives Jian a reassuring nod and retreats back into his house, closing the door behind him. Jian is left to wander about the city and try to find Ayames location.

Jian sighs deeply, being left in front of the door without any other words than the ones needed. He balls a fist, knowing that there's even more responsability set down in his hands now. He has to find her, now somebody else is also depending on the success of his.

He wipes his face once more and straightens up. The docks it is... Maybe he'll find Mr. Chen there and he might be able to help out. He dashes off in quite a fast manner, running down the dockline to look for anyone that might there, yelling Ayame's name here in there in hope for a response.

Jian makes his way hastily down to the docs, calling out for Ayame on the way. He recieves some strange looks from people he passes by, but doesn't seem to mind. He eventually arrives at the lower docks. The docks are the smallest of the ones in Recudor, but still big enough to house several ships, though only one ship is currently present and there seems to be an aweful lot of guards standing around it. Other than that, the docs seem empty. Though its hard to tell with the night so dark as today. At least its relatively quiet compared to the markets. The buzzing of people talking, yelling, laughing and singing seems so distant now. But Jian is focused on other things right now. Focused on finding Ayame.

He takes note of the many guards, gathering around the one ship, and to the other side notices someone sitting on the edge of the docks a bit further out form where he is. He can't make out any more features though that the person is there, and he notices a purple glow swinging back and forth behind the person.

Deciding to check out the glow he goes to walk up to the person carefully, as he doesn't know what to expect. He is making sure to not get sidetracked too much so he can continue looking for Ayame as quick as possible. Maybe the person will know about her location, if they saw anyone that is. With a bit curiousity and care he walks towards the sitting silhoutte, hoping for the best. What could cause the glow anyway? It could be anything, magic, some weird lamp, stuff like that.

"Excuse me", he then says at a still pretty fair distance, trying to get the attention from a further away spot to forsee thier reaction, as he approaches at a slow speed.

The person turns their head, and with them the glow swings around them and dangles around a bit. "Mh- yes?" a girl answers. They pull up their hand and suddenly flames errupt from them, seemingly biting and clawing at the air untill it finally forms into a ball of light. With the sudden flames the girl lights up her face and the part of the docs. "How can I help you little one?" she asks in a curious tone. She gestures her hand around the ball and it hovers a little bit above her to give more illumination to the docs. She wears a strange witches hat and a scarf, covering her robes and light armor. From her hat, there dangles a chain with a curious amulet hanging from it, which looks familiar to Jian somehow.

In the distance one of the guards yells "Hey!" and starts strutting his way over, being followed by another, just in case. They are wearing their standart uniform with very little coverage and only short swords.

The Girl:

He reaches the girl as she plays around with the fire, surely intimidated by her abilities... He raises both hands to make sure she knows that he's not out to anything bad or harmful. "S-sorry to interrupt you... My name's Jian and your light kind of caught my attention. I am looking for a girl, she had a maid-attire on at the time I last saw her... Hav-"

He flinches as the guard yells over to them, seeing two of them walk over.

"Oh no, I think this might not be the best place to talk... I hope I didn't cause you trouble or anything!"
He bows once to apolagize, getting a tick nervous.
"W-we could try and get a way, or wait what they want from us... What do you think is best? O-or I could go and leave you if I bothered you with anything!", he then adds to his little nervous reaction.

The girl sighs at having drawn the guards attention and waves her hand fluidly through the air. Her fingertips leave beautifully sparkling runes in the air as she draws them out one by one. The guards stop for a moment startled. "H-Hey! What are you doing! Halt!" The two men now charge at Jian and the girl, followed by the rest of them. The girl finishes her writing and the runes burst into tiny shards, dispersing into the air and flying up into the sky. The guards gasp and continue running, drawing their swords and running past the two, heading down further the docks. "Hey! Stop running! This is the Recudor Police!"

The guards alltogether run down the docks and up some stairs, completely oblivious to the fact that Jian and the girl were left behind, not going anywhere.

"Silly people, doing silly things, out of fear." She says and turns back to Jian, smiling. "A maid person you say? Why I've seen one. She looked rather roughed up!" She sits back down on the docks, letting her feet dangle over the edge, barely missing the waters surface. "I don't know why you're looking for her, but those guards who were here earlier took her away. You're looking for this Ayame girl, yes?" She begins to draw images in the air of the girl, and it definately is Ayame, and then draws scenes of some guards talking to her. She looks like shes in distress. The guards start yelling though no words come out of the pictures. "Yes well... she's probably locked up right now. I don't know what in the heavens she's done but the guards weren't happy to see her. Were talking about collaberating with some shady people. Shaaaaddy people indeed." She then clasps her hands and the images disperse aswell. "Do you know the way to central district? It's the only place I know of where they have a department for these things... hmmm." She nodds then in thought and gets up, taking his hand. "Come, we best find your very curious and absurd friends. You'll need that shadow chic, You know, stealth and all that. Precaution." She puts her finger to her lips as if to shush him and then leads him away by the hand. Together they make their way to the markets.
