Jian looks up, thinking for a moment. Where would be a good place to start this investigation... Or even more, how to even proceed in general. If the girl mentioned really is Clarent, and the person that "kidnapped" her also indeed is Sharpe... Why even look for more information? Better would be for them to come up with a plan on how to deal with the contractor itself.
He then snaps out of it, turning to Frazil.
"Oh, I apolagize. We have accepted a job from the boards that are located at the militia tents. We can take you there shortly, or you could help us out too. Basically... we have accepted a job by someone claiming that someone kidnapped his... daughter? I think it was his daughter yeah. And from what he described, it is very, no, extremely likely that Clarent is the one he's meaning. And to top this off, Sharpe could be the "kidnapper", the description fits once again very well to him."
Jian runs his hand through his hair for a moment, readjusting the somewhat short ponytail he has, then looking into the distance.
"I feel like we don't really know what we're looking for though. Information? Something that gives our suspicion even more confirmation? I think we should actually either meet up with that contractor to, hmmm... Maybe not. Too risky."
Looking back at the others, he has a somewhat grim look on his face, which pretty much came out of nowhere.
"... But maybe yes. You see, why search for more clues if there is one way to get clarification. We could try and bring this contractor to the location we "found" Clarent in. Close to the party house, it'd be a good spot to arrange this, preferably when nighttime hits again, but not inside of the higher-class districts, not sure if he'd get in there. Anyhow. Sharpe and Clarent could be on the scene, it looking like he does hold her hostage. We could then say that we persuaded Sharpe into cutting a deal with him, the contractor, and that it only will go through if he appears in person. We wait for the reaction of the man, see if she really is the one in question. Once we have him in that position, RD, or someone else with decent combat capability besides us, is getting ready in a place where he won't get spotted, but can jump in if stuff gets... ugly. It'd be the best place to capture the contractor to lure out information on what's going on. The reason why I want someone to jump in is, because he might have someone also shadowing him for his safety. It's what--", nearly just mentioning his own refugee status, and that he's being hunted, he interrupted himself, clearning his throat.
"It's... what I would suggest.", he then somewhat mutters out. Taking a moment to think about this, he's surprised he even came up with a plan like this. It's not like him to have any sort of tactical sense. Using this oppurtunity as a base of confidence, he then reflects it on the outside, his posture and look giving away that he really means to pull this off.
"Any objections or suggestions?", he then says, smiling and tilting his head at the others.
