The same as before will happen to Jericho, though instead of directly meeting up with Sharpe, he will notice him from a few stands down and decide to join him after his business with Charlotte Ein has come to a conclusion.
Sharpe will recall the girl leaving on a mission and in-stead make his way over to Terry Frost's stand at the southern markets, before being noticed by Jericho. Terry Frost will offer him the choice between a few variants of crystals.
Small Clouded Aquamarine Catalyst Rod, designed to be used as a charge for any standard protraction pistol or rifle, whose shots do bare minimum impact damage and begin to freeze over the impact zone with small sheets of ice and crystals, making it difficult to interact with or move whatever area afflicted in a small radius. Charge time is very long(10~15 minutes) and with limited capacity adding up to a single shot per charge and can be charged by being kept in a cold environment or in water. Less effective in warm environments. 2 gold each with a life span of approximately 12 uses or so.
Small Clouded Tourmaline Catalyst Rod, designed to be used as a charge for protraction pistols only, who's shots singe through cloth and light types of leather armor as well as char bare or exposed skin. It's a very commonly found type of charge made from common gems and minerals designed to be used as an munitions-substitute for protraction guns. Charging is impossible without professional help but is made up for by the huge capacity, though if fired to frequently can be prone to cracking or outright breaking. 4 gold each with a life span of approximately 60 uses or so and a recommended waiting time of 10~30 seconds per shot.
Small Clouded Ruby Catalyst Rod, designed to be used as a charge for protraction pistols and light rifles only, whose shots combust into balls of fire that then over time shrink and dissipate. Depending on the distance can cause any amount of medium to light damage as well as small fires from close range. Charging is achieved through warm environments or being left in fires and ovens overtime or left out in the sun for extended periods of time(1~7hrs), with a decent enough capacity to fire three shots before charging becomes necessary. 3 gold each with a life span of approximately 20 uses or so.
Small Clear Aquamarine Catalyst Rod, similar to its Cloudy counterpart, but able to shoot twice before recharge becomes necessary and a slightly faster charge time(5min). Built sturdier and of higher quality it fetches the price of 4 gold 35 silver each and has a life expectancy of 20 uses.
Small Clear Tourmaline Catalyst Rod, similar to its Cloudy counterpart, but with bigger capacity and shorter cooldown(3~10sec) between shots. Built sturdier and of higher quality it fetches the price of 6 gold flat and has a life expectancy of 80 uses or so.
Medium Clear Citrine Catalyst Rod, designed to be used as a charge for protraction pistols and light rifles only, whose shots illuminate the immediate area and mark any target or surface it hits with a bright light(approximately 5~10 minutes). It singes through cloth only dealing only bare minimum damage. It can charge fairly quickly through body heat, kinetic energy or being bathed in light both natural and unnatural (with exception of protraction made light). Though its capacity is somewhat limited resulting in only 5 shots per charge. 6 gold each with a life span of approximately 200 uses or so.
Medium Brilliant Amethyst Catalyst Rod, designed by an unknown party for protraction pistols only, whose shots supposedly have various effects on various different types of creatures. The merchant seems somewhat unsure how to explain the whole ordeal, but he assures that it's only the finest of qualities and not many of these are still in existence for this specific type of weaponry. There is no known way to charge it, and it supposedly has an incredibly limited capacity leaving it at a used price of 9 gold 50 silver for a single remaining shot.
Sharpe will be joined by Jericho and the two will take their leave after business is dealt with.
