Jian finishes his tea calmly, then setting the cup aside along with the other empty ones. He stares at Sharpe for a moment, acting all... he doesn't even know. He scratches his head in a bit of a confusion of why exactly Sharpe is doing what he is doing right now. He shrugs once, following after RD and him after they started walking out. He bangs into the doorframe a bit due to being drifted off in thought for a moment, then turning around to it in a reflex.

"Gah... Puong-quai!", he yells out, cursing the doorframe, shaking his fist a little, walking on afterwards with a slight grunt. Having left the building, he ponders on eating out somewhere. Pork-buns would be nice.

"A man who never ate Pork bun, is never a whole man! That's what a wise man told me, we should get some when we can, they're good. Expect the man to yell at you though, it's his way of marketing. He'll either ask us why we don't have a pork bun in our hand... Or he'll yell at us telling us we could use a pork bun", he then says, trying to calm himself down from his concern, also lighting up the mood a bit.

"Now... to your question RD. Well, it's a bit of a long story. I don't exactly recall everything perfectly, but from what I remember... Clarent woke up suddenly, quite dazed, wanting to reach her soul trap. She was so insistant that we let her go, but we went along to make sure things will be fine... Now, we ended up in the underground systems of the city, due to them giving us a faster way to get around town, which didn't end in our favor. Those... well... Those bastards that were sent after me to hunt me down... A group of them got us while my arm was in extreme pain due to the cut I had from being at Castle Vikuur had an infection. I thought we were done for but before I really understood what happened, we got away and I passed out. My arm was healed, by someone named Ms. Keil, she helped me once already I think... I need answers from her, but that can wait after we finished business. But yeah, Clarent went off to do her own thing, I couldn't follow her, but then, I went home, jogging around the whole city to get there. Sums it up, I think...", he explains. His voice shifts a little due to him being not fully sure of how it went down exactly, but he still remembers the general situation.

Jack drank his tea the fastest out of everyone. The amount of coffee he drank over the years made his tongue near burn resistant. The reason He wasn't the first out the door was because he was waiting for everyone else to go. He locked the door on his way out.

"Barely had anything that can be considered an actual conversation with that Clarent girl, but I can tell you one thing is that she is quite a snob. All she said before she left is that she had no interest in quote 'taking part in something that won't affect [her] destiny'. Speaking of people we should be on the look out for, do any of you have a plan of attack for sneaking into central."

"I guess I should ask. Do I have your blessing to set foot in central?"

"No need to sound so pissed off, but yes."

The house locked and left behind, the group begins their way out of the High-Class district, with half of everyone's thoughts focused on how to get into the Central district. Based on what their previous experience and shared information was, neither of the entrances were particularly well guarded. There were a good number of guards on each bridge leading across the water canal into Central but usually their attention seemed to be elsewhere. It wouldn't be hard to imagine for a person to slip by, but a whole group of four would be another thing entirely. The bribe worked easily enough last time, but considering the type of people Jack had to deal with upon his investigation leads the group to believe this won't be a repeatable action, at least for now. But then there was also the question of how Jack and Jian got to the northern district to begin with. The group spends a good while walking through the High-Class district, which seems to be a smaller walk each time they take it, and eventually arrive at the markets once again, conveniently located between them and either of the exits and transports of the district.

Sharpe's eyes are fixated on what is before him, a figurative point representing his focus. His shoulders moved back and forth, but he never bobbed up and down, unlike those who they'd normally pass. He never bobbed; he had a stride. His pace was swift, his facial expression stern. He only cared about getting his friends back, and making sure none of them died. For now, he was dead-set on the mission laid out for him. He stopped abuptly however and looked round, his collar turned up and his had obscuring the top of his head. What was visible was his eyes, and if he turned a bit further, his facial profile.

"She went off on her own?" He asks, a bit of tension to his question. He sneers a bit, but it fades soon after and he turns a bit more to reveal more of his front.

"As for how we get in there, you said you took the sewers. To move undetected that's the second-best way to move around, next to air vents. They may be cramped but at least they don't smell terrible, and you don't have to be a midget or contortionist to get in them." he says, smiling a bit to lighten his outlook.

"If those goons come back I'll slice 'em a new one. They're thugs, filth. No match for disciplined, concentrated power." He says, his smile turning into a clear grimace.

Even though he was trying to seem less bothered, it was actually quite angering that Clarent went missing, after the fact that she's the whole reason they went to Castle Vikuur in the first place. Though it seemed she was driven by a deeper instinct, one of self-preservation. The girl might not have been doing well but she can handle herself. He just wishes they would have kept a closer eye on her.

Richard chuckles a bit as he notices Jian's run-in with the door frame, "Pork-buns eh? Sounds good; we'll grab a few wit' the gang once we get 'em outta there, eat 'em togetha."

He slows his pace somewhat and falls back so that he can hear the story from both Jian and Jack.

Piecing together what they say, "Hm, So the soul trap is that important to 'er... Just as i thought..." He suddenly drops his tone to be discreet, "It's unfortunate that they saw ya though, i was hoping they wouldn't catch sight of ya here and would get thrown off yer trail, now ya may need to be a bit more careful Jian, they'll most likely be even more adamant in their pursuit seeing as they've confirmed yer presence in the city. Don't travel alone around 'ere if ya can help it alright?" He mutters, hoping only current company could hear.

Returning to a normal tone he continues,  "I'll admit this 'Ms. Keil' intrigues me as well, ya don't remember how ya got away from those thugs, 'nd next thing ya know you're being healed by her? How'd she happen upon you guys, and ya've met her before ya say? Hmm... And Clarent... did she recover or did she seem ta be forcing 'erself when she took off? I mean from what ya'll are saying it seems she was more desperate  to find 'er trap than anything else. Ta be honest though, i'm thinking that if we locate the trap we'll find 'er as well, which is great since i'm pretty sure the Doc knows where it is."

RD chuckles a bit at Clarent's last words before leaving the group, "Heh, doesn't she know that altruism is the most intriguin' part ah human nature? Some would say it separates us from teh animals... Added some of the most interesting events start wit' a little bit ah altruistic attitude." He grins a bit, knowing full well that both good and bad things stemmed from that odd aspect of human nature, but at least it kept things interesting, it was pretty much the reason he was here now; trying to break into a quarantined area. He just couldn't leave well-enough alone.

After stopping and listening to Point-Man's overall analysis of the situation he looks around his immediate vicinity trying to spot any easy ways to get higher so he could get a better glimpse of the area. "Yeh, Sharpe is right, the sewers or a vent would be our best options here, but if we can't go under or around the blockade, there might be a way over it..." He trails off still seeking a way to snag an eagle eye view of the area they're trying to infiltrate.

Jian sighs with his attempt of lighting up the mood with his suggestion didn't work out, following along.
"Well, from what I think, the Doc has the Soul Trap, which is why she went off in the first place, wanting to find him. Now, I personally didn't catch what she meant with what she was saying before running off, but taking it into the aspect of feng shui it might've... Actually, nevermind. There's no way she would care or actually believe in any of that."

They keep on walking for a bit more before RD quietly mentions that a low profile would be a good idea. "Trust me, I am aware, I wouldn't go running around like crazy to cause commotion. I got my plans on that, which I will get to later", he replies to him.

"About Ms. Keil... I don't know. I will have to form an impression by having talked to her more properly, having her answer a few question I am having for her. Before that, she's just another piece in the puzzle that I am currently undergoing.", he adds to RD's second half.

RD looks about the place. They're somewhere along the markets with many standard urban-styled buildings near. There are various heights of buildings one could easily climb, but there don't seem to be any ladders or stairs near. Taking note of the time of day- It is the middle of the afternoon- climbing doesn't seem the best option, but a possible one, although none of the immediate buildings are anywhere close to the checkpoints, and most the buildings in the Central District seem to be an overall taller height.

"Miss Keil was a representative of the Trader's Guild here in Recudor. She awarded us some money and the house when we first returned from Vikuur. She was supposed to oversee the survivors as well, guide them back to their homes and keep an eye on them. You were in the right place at the right time for her to come help you. Though considering what we saw in central, I'm starting to get suspicious of her as well, especially the more I think on the subject." Sharpe says, retaining his focus ahead.

He shifts gears and turns his attention to RD.

"There really isn't a way over from what I understand. The districts are divided by canals with floodgates. I guess you could always find a building that happens to be an easy jump, but I highly doubt it. Our best bet is to go underground where we have a minimal chance of catching the attention of the city guard - and potential enemies.

"I'm not about to kill guards however. These are normal people doing their job, and besides, they really aren't against us anyway. Simply following orders. If those men who were after Jian come back though I wouldn't be more apt to use lethal force." He says. He thinks for a moment, something he should have asked of Jian before.

"Jian, could you describe who went after you? Weapons, appearance, attitudes, the like? Would go a long way in case they happen to be in the same crowd as us."

"Plans, huh...?" Richard mentions more to himself rather than anyone else, while still gauging the overall area. Already knowing how the best laid plans usually go, he still honestly hopes everything goes well for the younger man, but can't help but be a bit skeptical given the gravity of Jian's ever-worsening situation.

While 'running around like crazy' would likely draw ungodly amounts of attention, RD could see him much more likely to get himself killed trying to shoulder all the burden himself, being too quiet and suddenly disappearing one day. Richard resolved to keep a closer eye on him to ensure that wouldn't be the case.

"I'll admit imma bit worried about Clarent, pretty sure she wasn't a hundred percent when she left yer company, but we'll see..." He couldn't concern himself too much with her for now, one problem at a time; added finding the doc was the best way to locate her at the moment. "... Same wit' this Ms. Keil. I'm curious as ta how deeply she's involved with the happenin's in this city. Mayhaps we should pay her a visit sometime."

"As for the higher ground i was seeking, i was hoping that i could get a better view ah the area, see if there was a way in i could spot from higher up, the buildings in central are too tall ta jump ta safely... i see that now. 'nd truthfully the buildings 'round here are too low for me to scope the area that well, which is unfortunate, but it just means we'll have to take a bit longer lookin' for a way in, 'less someone knows a discreet way around these guards and hasn't decided to speak up yet."

RD, shrugs and then begins to pace the perimeter of the quarantine, at a decent distance in order to not draw any attention, while still seeking any openings or breaches that could be manipulated to become a point of entry. Unguarded or overlooked gates, ventilation systems, manholes that may lead towards the central area, side-streets, structural weaknesses, nearby abandoned housing, waterways, pretty much anything that would lead from outside to within while drawing the least amount of attention.

    Jian simply shakes his head.

"I don't think I remember much, it is fairly dark in those tunnels... But also, to correct you, it is not sewers we are talking about. Those are transportation tunnels that usually are only used by workers that do work around the city to bring stuff to construction sites faster. Normal citizen are not allowed in there. Yet, I keep using them because it's just faster and people never asked questions when I saw them."

He clears his throat for a moment aftewards, scratching his head.

"So with that being cleared up, no special entrances there, just normal access through one of the few stairways. To add up to that, usually those tunnels are empty, nowadays not that much is being built in this place. So if we run into someone, it might likely be some other random person using the tunnels, or those dudes again. They still are lit though, so we can move around without losing sight of what might lie ahead."

He then scratches his face a little, which sounds a bit more rough by now, as he has grew a stubble by the time he met this whole group. He hasn't shaved since so he figures it might be good to do that soon.

"In any case, I still am quite hungry and the man who sells Pork Buns is near... Why not get a few? I mean, we still can move on and eat at the same time. One of the tunnels also isn't far from here, so we could jump down there afterwards too."

Jack had been lost in his thoughts for most of the walk.

"Trying to catch up with my responses to all the subjects everyone is talking about here, Despite that girl being a snob, I can at least figure that she's smart enough not to waltz into trouble and fast enough to run even if she did. She'll be all right. As for Ms. Keil, she's nice, and yes, maybe a little too nice, but there should be no rushing to judgments about her lest we seem ungrateful for a free house. Dammit, Jian, all your talk about food has made me peckish. And last and most important is my plan."

Jack pulls out a protraction crystal and the radar.

"We're too big a group to sneak in as 4 people, but we might have a chance if we split into groups of 2. Two of you will sneak in while holding this crystal. Whoever is remaining and I will sneak in a moment after using the radar to find you so that we may regroup. Then we shiv the baddies, save our friends, and get those damn pork buns everyone is going on and on about."

    Sharpe looks back at Jack.

"It's actually safer to go one by one, but I've done this with more people, so I honestly do like the thought of that." He looks back to RD.

"I don't think we honestly had any lunch, did we? We got so wrapped up in trying to find everyone and regroup that we forgot to eat. Yeah, sure, I'm up for some food." He says.

"Sorry about the sewers also, just I for some reason associate tunnels in cities with them I guess. G'head and show where the stand is."

As he walks he matches RD's pace.

"Jack's honestly kind of right, we don't want to lose the house or seem ungrateful. I'd probably consider not touching that until a good deal of time has set in, we only got the house yesterday. Best not agitate things, though we will keep a suspicious eye for them." he says to him.

Richard stops walking for a moment at stares at the group with a raised eyebrow, almost in disbelief of what he was hearing.

"Wait...Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait... Now i'm not gonna argue, splitting up in orda ta infiltrate is a pretty good idea. I won't even argue not questioning Ms. Keil right away, in fact i never said it needed to be done A-SAP..." He places one of his hands over his eyes as he registers what just occurred. "But, ya'll wanna grab meat buns despite the group being in possible imminent danger, added to the fact we still haven't located ah confirmed access point..."

He draws his fingers across his eyes until they reach the bridge of his nose, which he pinches for a few moments, eyes closed. He breathes in sharply and lifts his head skyward as he slowly opens his eyes."Right." He says as he exhales. Shrugging he responds, "Yeh, sure, lets go do that. I'mma bit hungry mahself. Ta be honest, we may garner too much attention if we just go straight to the tunnels anyway. Hell, why don't we grab a few extras for the rest of the group. Dun worry i'll covah ya'll." He sticks his hands in his pockets, making sure he still had money to spend, though he knew it was all still there.

"Lead on mah man." He gestures to Jian, being careful not to say his name aloud, and sticking his hand back in his pocket after wards.

"Geh i'm not gonna lie, i'm bit aggravated, but yanno maybe i'm just worrying too much. They're probably fine, just tripped and shattered the crystal or something like that... Though if they're not i hope they'll forgive me for grabbing a meal first... Psh, what am i saying they'll probably be happy to see I've brought extras."

"I'm hoping the tunnels you're speaking of actually run through central in some way. If they do we may not even need to split up at all." RD says to Jian, trying to stay somewhat focused on the task at hand.

Jian tilts his head at RD a bit.

"Calm down my good man, pork buns can be eaten very easily while on the go. No waiting times, he cooks those in advance. We go there, listen to his wise words, pay, get the pork buns and we can go on. The stand is just... like around the corner really.", he says, trying to chill RD a bit down.

"Too much temper for my taste", he silently mutters, then leading the way.

"The man we're about to meet is great, one of the best vendors in terms of food in town. Great taste too, for a really decent price, I mean, even I can afford that without any problem. Now we just around here and..."

He turns the corner, then showing them where the stand is located, which is just down the road from where they are standing.

"Ta-da! Fresh pork buns right there. He'll have plenty of them, so if you like them, don't hesitate to get them from his stand once we're returning."

That being said, he begins walking towards the stand, already waving from afar to catch the man's attention, greeting him in his native language. Even though both can speak the main language spoken here, he still prefers to speak in his native language to explain and converse faster and more efficient.

"Also...", he starts saying quietly, "...if any of you starts getting tired with me scooping out people from my country or their local food. Let me know please, as I tend to usually just look for them when I need something"

"Well Richard, to be honest, I'm actually not entirely worried about the situation. The quarantine is almost over, so who could possibly be attack our friends. Even if it was something or someone bad, they would be stopped or at least weakened by the elite soldiers in the area called in to contain the situation. Even then, Air is a sharpshooter with invisibility and you already know of the doctor's power, so they would still be able to fend off anything until we came for support. Not to mention, all of these scenarios require them being attacked. For all we know, the tripped and broke their crystal that way. So you see, I'm worried about lunch because there's a higher chance I'll die of starvation than they'll die in Central. What I'm interested is finding what they are doing in there and who is with them. There were three dots on the radar instead of two."

Jack was lying through his teeth. He had no idea why everyone started on the topic of pork buns, but he was simply using it to distract himself from worrying.

"Well, whatever the case may be. We ought to pick up the pace, now."

The group is about to order some of the food from the already noisy merchant, whilst still bickering amongst each other. It is at that point that the group realizes how dark it has suddenly gotten. Without them noticing, some thick clouds have started forming overhead, casting out the sun. The faint rumble of thunder fills the air around them. It will likely start to rain soon, followed by what will likely be a quickly passing storm. The radar emits a loud enough beeping sound to signal something is happening so Sharpe takes a quick look at it. The screen is glitchy and distorted.

Suddenly the thunder grows immensely larger. Loud deafening cracks emitting from the clouds above. The sky turns an eerie purple as the clouds continue to spread. As the group looks up at the storm brewing above, a massive distortion tears itself into the sky, Pushing the clouds aside and distorting the view around it, almost as if it was pushing reality itself apart. Jack suddenly gets a painstaking headache as the tear appeared. Mitsuki, who unbeknownst to the rest of the group had been with them the whole time, gasps in surprise and curiosity alike. "That can't be good..." she says and turns towards the closest alley heading to the central district, going into a full sprint as she loosely draws the usual glowing symbols into the air, suddenly dematerializing and disappearing in an instant.

Looking up to the solid black tear in the sky, a small shining glint can be seen by the group. Moments later a large spherical shard of ice rockets down into the ground, impacting somewhere in the central district and causing a ton of smoke and dust to fly out and spread into the air above the district. With the strange and distorted sound of thunder and lightning, the tear spreads out, doubling in size before rapidly shrinking into itself, disappearing just as abruptly as it came, taking the storm clouds with it.

The dust and smoke quickly settles, and the entire city seems to be figuratively frozen. The civilians and guards in the streets simply stare in the general direction of whatever just occurred, some gathering to move up and see what was going on in Central. The civilians begin to chatter amongst each other, asking questions, contemplating what just happened, some in panic, some in curiosity. The pork bun Vendor simply curses and throws one of his cooking tools onto his stand before beginning to pack up.

"Sorry man, just people seem to really be on edge, I think it's a good way to maybe calm stuff down. If you do get pissed, come talk to me." He says quietly to RD. He looks down at the radar, taking note of it's haywire behavior. He looks up with a serious visage.

"Get the stuff quick, we need to see what caused that and quick. It seems to be near where the others might be, in Central. Nobody else is doing anything, we have the potential to be the first responders." He says. He grips his sword in case they need to run or jog, so that the weapon will be steady and won't flop everywhere as he moves. It's definitely other-worldly, but It might not be the same as why the district was quarantined. It will likely go back under watch anyway.

Richard couldn't help but feel the others weren't quite grasping the gravity of the situation, but continued to follow them in silent confirmation.

Listening to Jian's words about scoping out his countrymen, he does decide to respond though, "Its not ah problem, really. Just make sure there's someone ya can trust 'round, case ya get in ah bind." He realizes Jian may be feeling a bit homesick and is definitely more familiar with his own people rather than this ragtag group he was seemingly dragged into, but he also realizes two things; First, other eastern people were listed within Tosh's little black book, so some of the people Jian knows could be under surveillance as well, though he remembers Tosh saying only Jian is nearby. Secondly, people, no matter how long you've known them, may stab you in the back to save themselves or line their own pockets. He based this knowledge off years of experience, not only as a soldier and a bounty hunter, but as a Berzerker as well.

Jack's words in particular make RD glance at him for a couple seconds. It was as if the man was trying to convince himself that everything was fine, though his words had some wisdom to them. Facts that even Richard himself couldn't deny.

At this point they arrived at the vendor, and as Sharpe offered a few words of consolatory advice, the area around them had suddenly grown dark, as if day suddenly became night. The air around them feels charged with energy as a loud alarm goes off on Point-man's person.

Sharpe glances at it with a grim mixture of confusion and seriousness as the sounds of great thunder ring out, shaking the area. RD turns his gaze towards the sky and stares wide-eyed in befuddlement and awe as it... tears...literally tears in twine. A short pained yelp from Jack draws his attention for a moment, he barely hears it over the thunderous booming the area echoes in response to the calamity taking place above. The man is doubled over in pain grabbing his head but otherwise seems under attack from no outside force, so Richard assumes the current events are a bit too much for him and turns his attention back to the sky.

"That can't be good..." He pauses and looks around thinking he heard someone else say the same phrase at the same time but only catches a glimpse of what seemed to be a long... tail(?) heading down an alley nearby.

He doesn't get long to muse over it though, from the sky a spherical glacier had erupted from the 'tear' and plummeted to the ground, causing debris as well as a large dust cloud to cover the area near the impact zone. In the meantime, the sky cleared again as if the entire incident was nothing more than imagination.

Richard freezes for a moment. A million thoughts going through his mind, before one takes immediate reign of all his other senses,

    "THIS. IS. PERFECT."

He immediately looks to his left and right at the others around him, Point-man, as he expected, was already ready to go, probably with the same thought in mind. Jian seemed to be just coming out of it, Richard silently hoped that he noticed the man at the Stand seemed to be deciding to pack it in, a good choice honestly.

As for Jack... RD dashed over to him, helping him up, "C'mon mate, we gotta roll, NOW." He then turned his attention to Jian, "OI!" he shook the younger man a little to snap him from his daze, "Let's Go!, this is th' perfect chance fer us ta get in there! Lead th' way ta th' tunnels! Hope yer ready ta run!"

Jian, having his hands full with the buns ordered, hears RD yell at him, then looking up.

"Oh god, what the hell?! This is quite sudden. Get out of here fast, things don't look good! Here, keep the change!", he then yells to the man selling his food. Giving him 40 Silver.

"What is causing this? What is going on? Fucking hell!"

He runs to RD with his hands full, trying to not drop anything on the way. Very confused of the sudden change of weather, seeming to make things turn quite sour fast. Jian sets down everything after reaching RD, quickly putting everything into his backpack. Having done so he quickly puts it back on, pointing ahead.

"This way, quick! Quick!", he yells. Running towards where he pointed, he builds up quite a sprint, faster than anyone has probably witnessed from him, he takes a sudden turn to the right, sliding away from the ground a bit before managing to take said turn. Running down that road like crazy.

"Quick, it's right down this road!", he yells out extremely loud so everyone can catch him incase they've fallen behind. He runs even faster now, he can't slow down in time though and decides to take a jump down these long stairs, about 15 stairs. He falls and his instincts make him roll, smacking against the wall with his side, leaving off a violent sound.

"G-graaghnmm... Shit, you asshole!", he hells, cursing the wall, slamming his fist against it with quite big pain in his body, then getting up slowly. He doesn't even seem to realize that he's been swearing more and more in his native language recently, signs of him being stressed. He then looks up the stairs, waiting for everyone to come down.

"W-what...this doesn't make sense...some sort of magic making everyone tear up with headaches... your an angel, whatever this is, it shouldn't be having an effect on you...follow your friends, find what's causing this, and destroy it imdiately if it's hostile. MOVE DAMMIT MOVE!!!"

"You sound even more worried about all this, aren't angels supposed to be as vulnerable to magic as humans?"

"STOP THINKING AND RUN YOU ASSHOLE!"

Jack picks up his pace immediately catching up with the group and almost passing them, but holding off using his angel form in case he needs to use it in an upcoming fight."

The whole city is in set in motion. Guards and local militia forces are starting to move about hastily and figure out the situation. Meanwhile the group makes their way to the tunnels at a rapid pace, no questions asked, just following Jian as fast as they can. In no time they arrive at the destination, and an audible commotion is happening all around them but nobody seems to be paying attention to the group, fortunately. The way inside is clear, and nobody seems to be inside.
Chances are they won't have too much time before the authorities gather at whatever location the impact took place at.

Sharpe bolts into a sprint, catching up to and holding his place right behind Jian. Quickly takes each step down the staircase instead of jumping it, and gets up beside him.

"Looks like I'm gonna be living up to my callsign." He says and takes out the radar. He looks down at it to see that it's still malfunctioning, so they'll have to trust their guts. For now, they will move forward.

"Alright, straight down for a bit, or what feels like a few blocks, then we'll find a ladder up. I'll lead." He says, and begins jogging down the tunnel. Every few openings he stops to look, and he makes a note of his surroundings so he won't get lost. He proceeds with the group in tow.

Richard sprints towards the stairs, trailing behind the others somewhat to make sure they weren't being followed. He looks forward just as they approach the stairs and jumps instinctively, over shooting the path a bit and connecting with the wall. Luckily he protects himself using his hands, bouncing off the wall somewhat and landing rather heavily. He looks back at the stairs, "Prob'ly shoulda just ran down em."

He glances back at the group still running down the passage, Jian in particular seems to have taken quite a tumble and may have hurt himself colliding with the wall.

With Sharpe now leading, RD catches up with Jian. "Oi, ya alright? Looks like a took quite a tumble back there. Once we get where we're goin', check, make sure ya didn't hurt yerself."

He drops back once again to cover the rear, hoping that they reach the crash site soon. He knows that around this time the authorities would start moving, then things might get a bit hectic...

Jian jogs after everyone in a rather uneven pace. He isn't sure on how to feel with everyone just leaving him on the ground like that, running past him, but he'll just have to deal with it, he thinks. He is quite surprised for RD to then check on him though.

"I... I'll cope", he simply says, somewhat relieved that at least one person was to ask him if he is actually okay instead of just running past him leaving him there to get up. He could've broken his leg or something, then people'd just run and ignore the fact, going on. He hopes that the food didn't take a big hit from that landing though, it'd be a shame if that money has gone to waste in this hassle.

"Thanks though... at least you seem to care enough to check for your surroundings", he adds, in a rather sentimental tone a bit after, forming a smile, not big, but apparent enough.

"Don't turn around and grab him. You need to find what caused this shit and kill it. Besides, he's not even one of the heroes."

    "Well he's still family."

"Even more reason to leave him behind, you saw what those things can do to human flesh. If the thing that caused this chaos is worse than that, he'll be the first to die."

    "RUN FASTER!!!!"

Jack didn't look back at Jian as he ran. He was completely confused as why the voice was so worried, and why that worry was so easily converted to rage.

"We have a 74.24% chance of finding the source of all this before the authorities, but only if we pick up the pace, gentlemen!!"
