Re: Glayp'neir
Dr. Atrium grunts as he fights to keep the monster in place. He smiles when he hears people walking up and telling men to take aim at the monster. His heart sinks when he sees the monster's shadows start to leave. He tries grab the shadow with his massive claw but it gets away. He then notices that the guards are aiming at him as well. He quickly throws the giant corpse of what is left of the monster at the men. He hears the men shooting and he ducks behind the build and starts running in and out of allies, making his way to meet up with Mitsuki, making his way to the North Gate.

"ok ok ok....shite shite shite..uh, Jian said we need to calm her down...oh uh, maybe singing. Yeah, just like uncle Ricky used to when was small."
Jack hold Clarent almost like he is cradling her.
"Hush now child
I know who has your charm
tam your soul that's wild
uuuh....
none here will bring you harm
..."
"dammit dammit, I can't think of more lyrics. Why did I think I would be good at improve. If only I had my fiddle"
Jack gives up on singing and hums a lullaby his mother would sing to him.

Re: Glayp'neir
After Jian forces Clarent to swallow some herbs she has a coughing fit that lasts for quite a while before Jack suddenly holds her and begins to sing strange songs to her. She holds back more coughs and pushes away from him, and tries to pull herself back up, simply to take a moment and stand there and calm down. A moment passes and her heavy breathing becomes more relaxed and her eyes look more focused. The initial shock seems to have worn off. "I have to leave..." she says and turns towards the door. "Thank you for your hospitality." she says and opens the door, her hands and arms still shaking.
The guards make haste to run after the doctor, but quickly loose sight of him as he bends around various corners, making sure to keep on track so he doesn't get lost. He eventually arrives at the northern side of the central district, which is under even tighter security than the south side, although there are no signs of the Killteam or those horrid things. From the corner of an alley the doctor analyzes the small makeshift barricade and decides there is no real way to get through without being seen, or even stopped, or worse. He backs up into the alley again and goes to the other side. Having kept parallel with the water he finds himself still alongside that same wall. He peers over it and looks off to each side. He notices the boat Mitsuki and him were in has docked a little further down at the northern harbor. He could probably jump into the water and climb back out, but he would definately get wet. And he feels weak from his most recent use of protraction. The doc decides he has only three options, having to jump several meters into the water below, present himself to the barricade checkpoint, or find another route, and risk having to deal with those creatures or the killteam again. Neither option seems particularly convinient.
The door bumps against Sharpes foot, and the woman behind applies some pressure at first, but then pulls the door back a bit further. "A moment please." she says and moves away from the door to fiddle around somewhere out of view. She then hands a token through the door. "paper, please." and waits for Sharpe to exchange the paper for the confirmation token.
Below, in the Inn, the big man laughs a strong hearty laugh, catching the attention of his Mercenaries and some other few people. "Alright, alright. You are a smart guy." he says, still half in laughter. As he recovers he adjusts himself in his seat and waves off his mercenaries. They immediately stop paying attention, as do the others in the room. "Okay... well you get some information for free. The name is Garbin Toshurta, but you can call me Tosh. And today you are dealing with the humble and fragile alliance between the crimson claw of na'hog and the recudor underdogs." he takes another few gulps and puts his glass back on the table. It's already empty again. "What is it you're looking for. In specific."

Re: Glayp'neir
Sharpe looks at her for a moment, slightly confused.
"Uh, alright then." he says and pulls open the breast of his coat and pulls out the slip of paper, handing the paper through the door and taking the token.
"I would have at least liked an explanation though, but alright then." he says and then takes his foot out of the door, then he proceeds to walk back downstairs. He looks down at the token. Thinking for a moment to himself.
"Well, I hope at least that their business is settled, whatever it was."

Re: Glayp'neir
RD tilted his head and raised an eyebrow at this new information. "Oh-ho? Well it's nice to meetcha' Tosh! Name's Rock Durahan, most just call me RD though." He sat back, folded his arms, taking a moment to scope the area a bit more, looking left then right at a casual pace. It was easy to spot a few of the men Tosh was associated with earlier, but some of the people in his group had hidden themselves well within the crowd as well. This Tosh had a good sized crew, addmitively RD found himself a bit impressed as he nodded at the man, re-evaluating his status.
"Garbin Toshurta also known as Tosh, The Crimson Claw of Na' Hog, and the Recudor Underdogs eh? I'll have to keep them in mind, they seem to be the underground groups that run their respective areas. Hm. He's got me a bit overwhelmed, now i'm curious as to how they're all connected to the east as well as what's going down here in recudor, but nevermind that for now, I'm sure i'll run into them again at this rate if i stick around, lemme get to what I originally started this inquiry for..."
"Like i said Tosh, i'm interested in why exactly the Eastern Emperor is so dead set on snagging all these refugees. What exactly is he trying to hide or get from them? Don't get me wrong, i'm still pretty dang interested in the payout this job could offer, but we all know how imperials are, get too involved in their dirty work and ya need to be wary of the inevitable back stab, ya become a liability if ya got no dirt on em, some info or something to use as a kinda'... safety net i guess. So before I try to get in on whatever his lordliness is offering i wanna be sure i've got a lil' black notepad of my own on the guy."
RD leans foward and sets his elbows on the table, folding his fingers in front of his mouth as he lowers his head somewhat. "... And if you've got nothing on the guy Tosh, point me in the direction of someone who does; I'll admit, i'm a bit interested in this 'Sheperd' the Emperor sent out to collect his 'sheep'. I mean don't get me wrong, worse comes to worse i could just hunt this refugee down and see if he knows anything, but honestly i doubt even he knows why he's been tagged by the Kingpin of the East."

Re: Glayp'neir
Jian puts a hand on her shoulder: "Where do you think you're going? Your condition is far from acceptable to be taking things on by yourself. If at all, I'll join you on where you're planning to go. This is not an offer either, this is an requirement if you really want to go somewhere. I can not allow you to endanger yourself in any way. I hope you're aware of that.", he simply then tells her, sounding really serious about it aswell.
"I know that you're probably not happy with said conditon, but I can't change it, I was told to look over you for a good reason. I will perform that duty, no matter how.", he adds thereafter, smiling a little.
"It's only for your own good, believe me, I've seen things back then, similar to your situation. I am not just spouting random things here, I am just being careful. Careful with valid reasons, mh?"
He lets go of her shoulder, hoping she would understand his concern and conditions if she wants to head out to someplace. But moreso, he hopes that she won't strain herself too much as she can't really afford to pull any drastic measures. He turns around to Jack, nodding.
"Get the keys, lock the door once we leave, guess we'll be heading out"

Re: Glayp'neir
Dr. Atrium curses under his breath when he sees the poor options that life has decided to give him. He walks over to the railing and looks down at the water. He sighs as he has already made up his mind. He is going to jump into the water and swim. He is going to avoid the barricade do to the fact that it might be full of killsquads. He starts to climb up the rail when he feels a sharp pain in his right shoulder. Doc takes his coat off and peels his shirt back to confirm what he thinks. Yup, He has been shot. Though this isn't the first time Doc has been shot, it is the first time that he has been shot by a Protration gun. There is no bullet he has to remove, just a small hole that the concentrated energy pierced him. Doc decides to not heal it and puts his coat back on. He is going to need what little energy and strength he has to make it to the dock.
Doc climbs on top of the rail and takes a deep breath before he jumps and dives into the water. When he resurfaces, he starts to make his way to the dock where the boat is. After some distance, he can feel how tired he really is. Using so much energy has drained him of most of his. He barely makes it to the dock and just manages to climb out of the water and onto it. Doc then rolls on his back panting heavily.

Re: Glayp'neir
Jack blushed with embarrassment as he pulls the key out of his pocket and straightens his coat.
"Oh well now I just feel embarrassed about that singing. I thought you were barely conscious and going insane because of how sick you were, then Jian said I needed to calm you down, then I panicked because getting sick from being possessed by a vampire/demon hybrid doesn't seem to make much sense, and here we are. I'm quite fascinated how you spontaneously regained consciousness. How do you feel at this exact moment."

Re: Glayp'neir
Clarent stands at the open door, staring out. "I have no objections." She says and turns to Jian, still standing a little shakily but with a determined expression. "But I don't know where I am going." she says and moves aside to let Jian and Jack exit the building with her. As Jack asks her the question she looks down at her hands, watching displeased as they shake somewhat uncontrollably. "I feel debilitated. Please let's not waste any time." she says and nods at Jack. It sounds harsher than she ment it to, but her mind is racing and her body feels like it's being pounded to a pulp, so she couldn't care less about her status with someone.
Doc arrives at the doc exhausted. He lays there for a while, until he notices someone poking at him with an empty bottle. It's a young boy, bent over him and asking him questions he didn't really understand at first. The doctor realizes some time has gone by and he must have fell asleep or fainted form his exhaustion. He still feels exhausted but not nearly as bad as when he first climbed onto the docks. "Hey mister... Are you still alive?" the kid asks, and doc feels a slight pressure on his side- Which quickly subsides as another kid gets up next to him, waving something around at the other kid. "Umm... well good luck, mister." the kid says and the two jog off and climb the stairs up to the northern district.
Tosh raises an eyebrow, possibly in thought, or maybe consideration. He then smiles widely. "Hah. That's what I like. Real spirit." He pulls out a notebook with various names and descriptions and points to the name 'Jian'. "This is the guy we're looking for. Mainly, at least. The others are just extra money, but this man seems to have some sort of connection or other with some important people. We've had to pretty much find our own leads on the matter, but from what we've figured out this little missy has come to our modest continent to bring back some people, so much you know already. They say these are mostly escaped prisoners that tried to wage war against 'his fancy-do emperor' and were shut down and imprisoned, but escaped one way or another and moved here. If you've talked to any of them you'll know it's a bullshit excuse to cover up something gone wrong, but what that might be we don't know." He shrugs a bit and then lets the notebook drop to the table. "Isn't our business, and our fair king and queen surely have their own secrets to keep with the way things have been going around here." he taps the notebook a bit, tapping on Jians name. "Supposedly this guy's worth some of the most, among a few select people. Sucks for him; he's the only one located anywhere near here. And we're not going to move up to Global anytime soon, what with the security upgrade and what not." he pauses and smacks one of the mercs on the shoulder. "Hey... where did that foreign kid run off to again?" he asks the man and he turns to lean on the deks a little. "Umm... This Jian, well Yun said he ran off with some of the others into some forest and never came back since, but there is a camp up near some ruins that they are using as a hideout. Says they're planning to move on soon." Tosh nodds at the man and dismisses him. "Alright, so he's up in the mountains having himself a little camping trip."
In the time the man explained the situation, Tosh wrote down a list of people in and around recudor. He hands the paper to RD. "So feel free to hit up any of these guys and do as you please. If you want to earn some money you bring them to us, and if not, we'll find them sooner or later-" he cuts off as Sharpe comes down the stairs. "Your friend is done with his business here it seems. We should be too, if its all the same to you." he says with a smile on his face.

Sharpe narrows his visage into a slight sneer, but not so much as to be obvious. He looks at RD, walking over to the table he's at and he pulls the paper that was put in front of RD with the tips of his fingers.
"What was all that about? And what's this..." He says, trailing off a bit until he confirms what's on the paper. His face starts to narrow a bit more into the sneer as he sees Jian's name, made to be particularly important-looking.
"What's this about man? I found the client, but it seems that they have retracted the job. So we're going to have to look into that other one. I'm more curious however of this, could you explain this name person here?" He asks.
"I'm guessing he was who they were looking for afterall, huh?" He says quietly into RD's ear.

Re: Glayp'neir
Richard listens closely to Tosh's info on Jian and his situation. Luckily it seems he and his men are a bit off with their info, the Lanky man, Yun, isn't as well informed as he thinks he is; which is good, his fashion sense is about as bad as his information gathering.
Tosh and RD are thinking along the same lines when it comes to the 'Little Missy's' explanation as to who the people she's after are, its a load of bull. "Escaped prisoners are one thing, but you don't pursue an escaped prisoner to the ends of the earth personally unless they're more than just that." He wondered if the lady knew how transparent her excuse was... clearly not.
"The main problem it seems is that either Jian is hiding something about how involved he actually was with the conflicts in the east, or his family was. Which one?" RD mused to himself as Tosh set a list of names in front of him. Richard glanced in Sharpe's general direction as Tosh mentioned his approach and began to conclude business."Ah, hold up man. Mind if i get a description of this lil' lady, or mayhaps a name? This is some juicy info but, i kinda wanna see if i can get a bit more outta her, maybe some more info on these targets." Tapping at the list he recently picked up, then using the same hand to extend for a handshake from Tosh. "No worries though, if i bag a few i'll be sure to hand em off to you so you can get in on their bounties, i'll just snag my finders-fee in those cases. I'm not just gonna dash straight to her without crediting ya'll, that'd be bad business."
"Oh and be careful running around those woods, i have it on good authority that things have been strange out there lately, A buddy of mine was recently attacked by some sort of creature... but he didn't get a good glance of it, other than glowing eyes. Ran off before he could profile it."
RD figured it wouldn't hurt to give the guy some cautionary info. He honestly respected this Tosh a bit despite his status as a potential enemy. Too bad they were on opposing sides, but he had run into similar situations in the past many times, drinking together cheerfully one day, at each other's throats the next. He wondered if he would ever get a shot at fighting the man, if they did meet on a field of battle, he felt the following conflict would be quite a sight to see.
As RD pictured this scene, Sharpe walked up to the table and lightly pulled the paper from Richard's fingertips, asking a few questions about his recent discussion with Tosh and mentioning the status of the job they were currently on.
He at first regards Sharpe without turning towards him. "Well Point-Man, ya came at a good time. Mah man Tosh here and I were just concluding a discussion on another very interesting business venture. Looks like we've got a few targets to hunt down on behalf of a pretty prominent man. Which is good, seeing as our current job seems to have been a flop."
He then looks towards Sharpe as he was about to say some very relevant info. "...Oh and about that name, some kinda high priority target, seems the employer has a powerful need to catch this particular person for some reason or another. Unfortunately we have no idea why, probably some cover-up and this man in particular possesses vital info, then again, as you know, its not really our business to ask why. Tosh here says he was last seen camping out in the woods with a group of thieves. He's likely worth the most so we'll let them handle it in exchange for the business offer." Hoping he subsequently answered Sharpe's question and let him know that Jian was safe for now, though he may want to ask a few questions once they saw him again.
"As for our job, it looks like ya nabbed the confirmation token which is good, but ya did bag the signature too right...? We need both to report back to the bounty board." He says as he notes the token Sharpe carries, but can't see the signature on his person. "If ya didn't get it though, no big, we'll just have to intrude on the person again for it, they're upstairs right? Lemme just wrap things up with Tosh here and we'll get it done and be off." He turns back to the large man for an answer to his question about the 'Little Missy' or so called 'Shepherd'.

Re: Glayp'neir
He sighs, then stepping out with Jack to take a look around. It's fairly quiet at the moment and the weather seems to not cause too many issues when it comes to going to places. He turns around, facing Clarent before talking again.
"So... Where exactly are you intending to go? Or rather... who are you wanting to follow? We're stuck without any info of what you had in mind. Like... Any person, any certain place, I know my way around so I might have an idea of where to go. I agree on not wasting time, your condition's not in a shape of being outside for too long as you'd be overexerting yourself at a fast pace. For... now, I'd say, let's head to the central, as we can go anywhere fast from there. I know underground tunnels which were made for people to get around when there are buildingsites. It's forbidden to access them when not being under the duty of the goverment, but there is nobody checking them at all. It's the tunnels I used last time before we went to get you out of the castle."
Jian takes a deep breath, carefully pulling Clarent's arm very gently.
"Follow me, I'll show you.", he says, smiling warmheartedly, then walking ahead after letting go of her arm again.

Jack hastily follows the two.
"You kept on saying 'where is it' well clenching your chest. I'm almost 80% sure you were talking about the soul trap. Do you need it for something?"

Re: Glayp'neir
Clarent accepts Jians help and lets herself be led by him. She feels some sort of a constant tug telling her where to go but her judgement isn't so clouded that she can't differenciate logic with want. She decides its a good idea to head for these tunnels first before she figures out where exactly to go. All the while a slight pain in her chest hammers away at her, distracting her from Jian's many questions.
"I don't know." she answers one of them, and a little whiles later answers another the same way. "I don't know..." Jack ends up asking her a question aswell and she simply feels up and down her chest, taking note of the empty feeling. "I don't know." she says and rolls her eyes a little. She may be able to follow reason despite her condition, but being understanding is not very high on her list of priorities. The three move about for a little while, taking things a bit slowly, untill she feels she can stand on her own without using Jian as a crutch.
Tosh eyes Sharpe down with a very noticeable glint of distrust and danger in his eyes. Something about the man just doesn't feel right. He does thing it rude to be interrupted in the middle of business, and for the man to snatch up the paper without any sort of question about it. When the man then leans down and whispers very noticeably into RD's ear Tosh simply raises an eyebrow at his new found partner. Not in threat, but question of the need for secrecy after forging a new alliance. "For safety reasons I may not tell you much about her, you understand. It's purely business, we don't need any snitches or backstabbing business going on. But I can assure you we'll be in touch with her soon enough, if we find enough of these escapees." he says, the tone of his voice heavily suggesting he would like to end the conversation on that note.

Sharpe raises an eyebrow.
"I see, some high-profile targets, and these thieves and whatever else the man surrounds himself with are in the woods, eh? It's not really too dangerous out there, if you know how to defend yourself and not die, you'd do fine." He snarks, and he looks at the large man RD was talking to. The man seems to regard Sharpe with an air of caution, as if somehow he doesn't bode well for his business. He guesses maybe he shouldn't have whispered to RD, it might have been a bit suspicious.
"Uh, no I didn't get a signature, all I was told was that I was no longer needed and they hastily gave me this." He says, showing RD the Token a bit more clearly in his hand.
"Quite different from what I'm used to, normally they just tax the amount from the overall payment, instead of having you pay to get your job."
"I'm sorry, where are my manners, since we might be doing business in the future afterall..." Sharpe apologizes, and offers his hand to the large man.
"Call me Ishmael. Name's Sharpe."

Re: Glayp'neir
Richard folded his arms, and looked down at the table. "Crap, that definitely put a damper on our negotiations... Not gonna be able to get anything else outta him for now."
After a moment of consideration he grinned and sighed a bit putting his hands on his hips and shaking his head mildly as he rose from his seat, he was a bit disappointed that he had lost out on that last little tidbit, but the info he had gleaned off Garbin was more than satisfactory, a win in his book. Leaving it like this was fine for now. He glanced at Sharpe and thought about giving him some tips on gathering info later, but he could see the man had noticed his own mistake and RD felt he was recovering well enough.
He shrugged and turned back to Toshurta "Heh, well I feel ya. I'll come looking for ya if i get anything on these targets." He says as he turns his body towards the staircase, but leans his head back in Tosh's direction, almost as if he's stretching. "Hopefully we'll be in touch Tosh, i'm assuming if i need to speak with ya i'll find you or yer men around this joint eh?"
A redundant question. He already figured the answer is yes. After all Tosh seemed to be an intelligent man, and this area being under his control as it were, was perfect to meet in.
Seeing as the conversation was over, RD begins to shift his attention to getting their compensation for the cancelled job and nudges Sharpe to point out the room their would-be employees were staying in. That signature is vital proof that the employer felt the job was done or no longer needed their services, so he walks towards the stair case, beginning to climb the stairs at a leisurely pace in order to wait for Point-man at the top.
"Hmm he said that they rather hastily gave him the token and told him our services were no longer needed... Wonder if there's a bit more going on behind doors in there... I'm not very satisfied with just leaving it like that. Need a better explanation to just suddenly drop an escort service, like Point-man said earlier: 'Usually people who post that kind of stuff want to get that done fast or soon, and it's a vast inconvenience to them to put it off.'" He starts to think of a way to get in as peacefully as possible as he waits for Sharpe, hoping it really was just a cancellation, but he had constantly been reminded that nothing is true, everything is permitted, that thought driving him to inquire about everything.

Re: Glayp'neir
Being used as a crutch, he holds onto Clarent so she won't fall or trip over anything. Big concern rolls through him again as he looks ahead.
"Not much further, we're close to the center, and also an entrance to the tunnel-system that lies underneath. I am sorry for overwhelming you with questions, but we need at least one hint to make out where to go.", he says, walking on in a slow but steady pace.
"Just hang in there, we'll find the doc... somehow."
Arriving at the central of the city, he takes a moment to remember, then pointing to their left, showing them the way to go to find the tunnel. He starts walking until the aching pain in his arm kicks back in. He still never got to take a close look at that wound since he was coming back from the castle. His face fills with extreme pain and agony for a moment, with him stopping. He takes a deep breath, immidiately calming a little and wiping the expression off of his face, then walking on until they reach the entrance of said tunnel.

Dr. Atrium feels his side where the kid was, feeling to see if there was anything missing. Yup, his coin purse. It is good that he only brought a few silvers and not all the money he has. He slowly gets on his feet and looks around. He is glad no one took everything he has while he was out cold. Doc walks off the docks but turns to the shore and splashes his face a few times. Once he is fully awake again he starts up the starts up the stairs to the northern district.
After about five minutes of walking and looking around, Doc makes it to the Gate where Mitsuki is waiting. He walks up to her and waves once he is face to face with her.
"I am sorry. I didn't mean to make you wait for so long. Thinks got out of hand and I tried to handle it. I hope you were ok just waiting there. I feel bad...Let go and get this over with. I feel as though we should get back as soon as possible."

Re: Glayp'neir
Anxiety rushed through Jack's veins as he failed to figure out what to do except follow the other two.
"Oooh dear, looks like it was a bit of a rush to judgement to call her conscious and or sane."
"Uuh Jian, if you don't mind me asking, how the bloody hell are we supposed to find the doctor. Last I remember, he left the house with that cat of his, not leaving a word or any other clue of where he was headed off to. Isn't there someone more easily accessible we could find to help? Whatever happened to that one doctor you left to talk to in the morning for instance?"

Re: Glayp'neir
Mitsuki smiles at the doctor as he approaches her. "It's not a problem, doctor. Come, let's walk." she says and leads him out of the city onto a small path leading alongside some close by woods. "The fastest way into the hideout is through the wall they broke into the catacombs many years ago while the church lay abandoned. Well... It still is abandoned... mostly." They walk a short while, keeping a fast pace untill the forest gives way to a small building with a rather large and dusty graveyard. The doc can sense that there are indeed still dead people in the ground, but some of the graves have been destroyed or dug up or simply fallen prey to the weather and nature. The building itself is mostly intact, but its very obvious it hasn't been maintained forever. If this is like most church buildings that Atrium has dealt with, the entrance to the catacombs will either be in the back or inside of the building in some secluded staircase. "This is the place. But be careful... we don't want to run into any issues." Mitsuki says to him. "Once we're in the catacombs we need to be sure to keep quiet, at least untill we get to the abandoned mines leading to the sewers."
Clarent takes a moment to relax and catch her breath, which occasionally has gotten heavy as they moved, but didnt seem to be unbearable. She can't tell whether to feel invigorated or as if she was about to fall over instead. "So where do we go from here?" she asks Jian.
Tosh nods at Sharpe but doesn't feel the need to introduce himself in return. He simply watches as the two walk up the stairs. RD arrives in the corridor upstairs first, followed by Sharpe who points him in the direction. Sharpe turns to the door when he arrives there and knocks. Nothing, for a moment.
He knocks again as RD arrives at the door as well. Still no reply.

Re: Glayp'neir
Sharpe knocks on the door again, and again. Still no responses.
"Gonna have to try some words of wisdom here." He says, nodding to RD
"Hello? It's me again, I require a signature as well or else I can't confirm that my services are no longer required."
He waits for five seconds... then ten seconds...
"Look, I know I must be becoming a pest, but I don't like it when I have a job and suddenly it's completely forfeit. It means I've gotta waste more time drifting about until I find another job, and sometimes that shit's sparse! If I could just have some sort of explanation for why the job well through, then I'll be on my way! But I sure as hell didn't feel anyone walking behind me, I would have if that was the case!"
Sharpe stops ranting at the door. He looks back to RD, sighing.
"Sometimes you gotta get it out to make things happen. Let's hope that might have done it."

"No response. Knowing Sharpe i'm sure this is the door he went to before he wouldn't forget so quickly... Not good. Something is definitely wrong, he only came down stairs for a few moments after getting this token as well. Crap. I didn't wanna do this but..." "I'm a bit worried about whoever was in there Point-Man, this might be taken the wrong way though, so get ready." As he mutters this to Sharpe RD, takes a few steps back and quickly glances up and down the hall. He then dashes forward and kicks the door off its hinges, then quickly takes a trenchspike out of a sheathe but keeps it hidden somewhat behind him, merely readying it in case danger was waiting within the room he just breached.

"I... have no idea", he simply says, sighing.
"The doc could be anywhere. In town, somewhere in the outskirts, we got so many places to check, so many locations that could give us answers I... I simply c-", he's cut off by his arm aching horribly again, the pain shoots trough the whole arm and he falls on his knees slowly. He carefully pulls Clarent down with him so she wouldn't fall with him then leaning against a wall in the tunnels. A big sweat forms up on his face, which is filling with agony again. He looks at the two for a moment, then looks away again in his pain. He lets go of clarent, carefully removing the torso-part of his armor to get rid of his top. Sitting there topless he carefully pulls off the bandage, or well, the rugged up and pretty dirty t-shirt from when they were at the castle. A pretty nasty, red and also somewhat blue-violet kind of colour is revealed. The whole top of the arm alongside the cut is covered in that colour, blood seems to have drowned the whole bandage in the last few days. It's an infection, a really bad one too. As he pulls it off fully he just tries to suppress all his grunting and somewhat yelling.
"H-heh... I... Ironic.", he stammers, tearing up a little. There is not much he can do right now, it's all simply him losing all his energy to that wound as it seems to finally strike back. The lack of care, dirty covering and being not closed up properly resulted to it and he deeply feels at fault for not taking care of it. After all, it results in him just slowing down vital progress even more.
"J.. Jack. You take her... somewhere. I am sure she'll feel... which way is... t... the right one. Leave me here.... I barely can... move", he says, his words constantly interrupted by either him suppressing his pain or him just slightly sobbing.

Re: Glayp'neir
Dr. Atrium looks at the ruined church and can't help but shutter a little. He knows deep down that if there was going to be an entrance, it would be inside but he would rather not go in just yet.
"I want to look around back first. One never knows what you will find behind buildings."
They walks along side the church, there are a few spots where the wall has collapsed and they can see into the church. At the back, there isn't much. The ground is crunchy from the glass of the shattered stained glass what is above them. He wishes he could of seen it before it turned onto multicolored shards that litter the ground. After a bit of searching, he sighs and walks to one of the many holes in the wall.
"We need to go in...I just hope this place hasn't been blessed in a long time."
Doc steps into the church and looks around. He can feel a slight stinging sensation all over his body but it doesn't harm him. He walks to the remains of the alter and starts looking for a button or a leaver.
"If I had to put money on it, this alter acts as a door. If we can find what makes it move, we should be able to move on. You look down the hall and or check the offices. There has to be something."
