    1. General Explaination
    2. Leveling Tiers & Training
    3. Skillpoints & Mechanics

    1. General Explaination

The leveling system acts as a physical representation of your character's advancement in skill and prowess. In order to learn a new skill or advance in a pre-existing one the character has to train towards this, the progress of which will be represented in experience points.

    2. Leveling Tiers & Training

Before training for a skill the player will be asked to select a type of ability and skill for his or her character to learn. After the choice is made the players can dedicate a few posts here and there to having their character train towards using said skill. An example of this would be; A fighter trying to learn Pyromancy so that he may enchant his fists with blazing knuckles. During combat they can try to advance their skill by actively putting it to the test. Outside of combat the character can train or study on the subject.
Each type of action will grant experience towards the ability and skill. One can choose to change the skill being trained anytime outside of combat, however, the progress on the current skill will be reset to the last tier unless a new tier has been met. Once the experience for the current tier has been met the character will advance to the next tier, permanently. A new skill can be safely chosen from here on, or the players may continue to level their current skills and abilities.
    The tiers for a skill are; Beginner(25), Advanced(+50), Skilled(+100), Masterful(+200), Grandmaster(+400)
The tiers for an attribute point are; +1 Attribute(+400)

    3. Skillpoints & Mechanics

Experience distribution is based on your class and what action your character chooses to take.
    Studying earns you +1 EXP
    Practice earns you +1 EXP
Practice in the Field earns you +2 EXP
    Meditating earns you +0 EXP

    In regards to magic and classes;

    Arcana
+1 EXP for any Arcane training.
    +2 EXP for Studying.
+1 EXP for Aero elemental specific abilities.

    Construct
+2 EXP for Studying & Practice.
-1 EXP for Practice in the Field
+1 EXP for Sun elemental specific abilities.

    Chaos
+1 EXP for any Might training.
+2 EXP for Practice & Practice in the Field.
+1 EXP for Pyro elemental specific abilities.

    Life
+1 EXP to any Social training.
    +3 EXP from Studying.
-1 EXP for Practice in the Field.
+1 EXP for Aqua elemental specific abilities.

    Shadow
+2 EXP for Social &  Stealth training.
+1 EXP for Practice & Practice in the Field.
+1 EXP for Moon elemental specific abilities.

    Understanding
+1 EXP for any Attunement training.
    +2 EXP for Meditating.
    +1 EXP for Studying.
+1 EXP for Terra elemental specific abilities.

It is also possible to learn a new attribute skillpoint. Every 400 EXP you are granted +1 to the attribute you trained in. Only EXP gained from training within the respective attribute will count, and does not reset upon changing skills or ability training.

Attribute skillpoints can set you over 10, correct.
In this case it would be indicated as, 10+1
