Airgetlam moves up and detaches the scope from her crossbow, looking down both ways of the tunnel, nothing seems to be of immediate threat, they just seem to go on and on, at least on the side that leads to the north.

"South clear. North clear, caution on north approach." She says, flatly. She re-attaches her scope to her weapon, then returns it to it's stowed position. She stacks up on wall, on their side of the corner in the crossroads.

"That is assuming we're heading home?" She adds. She can hear all the whispering, honestly she doesn't care at the moment, but one thing catches her ear, and that is what Sharpe mentioned to Jian. She decides that it'll hopefully be resolved and already there seems to be quite a lot of tension, no reason to increase that and jeopardize what they have going. It's not in their best interest to create drama right now. She looks down the tunnel to see if anyone has followed them and notices none. Good, the kill team is still only suspicious, not completely alerted.

Dr. Atrium looks over at Jack, his face showing how unhappy he is with him at the moment.

"Must you pry you head in every little thing?" He asks in a very harsh tone. He takes a moment to take a breath and calm down. "It is going to cast more then 20 gold. The total price is going to be 50 gold but I only have 35 gold at the house. As for this girl, She isn't a stalker. She is just...nervous around people and kinda makes poor first impressions. She is very nice." He turns and looks at RD. "And she is who I was with. I didn't go alone. I was meeting up with her at the docks on the outskirts of town. I do trust you and yes, I do "expect you to take my word for it". Doc's eyes turn silver. "Everything I have done, I have done for the greater good." His eyes turn back to normal. "I didn't tell you or anyone else where I was going because I didn't need to bring an army to visit this man. This girl knew the way and we made it."

Doc looks down when he hears Mitsuki talking. He smiles down at her and wipes some of the dust that fell on her face off before he gently sets her down.

"I am glad that you are alright." He then looks at Jian and chuckles. "Sorry. I guess it was rude to talk about you without talking to you first. I am glad to hear you are ok...well other then your leg."

Suddenly something hits him, he looks around. When he doesn't see Clarent, he looks back at RD just now hearing what he had said.

"Hold up...What Do you mean "She has taken off"?!" I left you guys in charge of watching her! EVERYONE STOP!" He waits for the group to stop moving and he sees them looking at him. "One! Who was watching Clarent while I was getting the cure for her?! Two! Where did she go?!" A sudden thought hits his mind and her glares around looking at everyone. You better not tell me she is running around in this underground death trap. His voice is low and close to growling. He looks at everyone as he waits for his answers.

Lox trailed behind the group, feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the people he was now traveling with. He mostly remained quiet and kept to himself, unable to add anything of value to any particular conversation. Plus he didn't want to add to the tension that seemed to be growing between Doc, the man with the large sword, and the third man they now seemed to be branding as an eavesdropper. Lox smirked to himself and simply observed the situation as they walked, and made a mental note to keep away from the man on the off chance he found himself with any sensitive secrets.

Still it amused Lox to see the others fall into what seemed to be some familiar roles to their respective persons, Air being on edge and cautious rushing to the front of the group with a man he assumed was at least somewhat similar. Maybe not as on edge as her but he seemed to be quite content with taking point alongside her. Doc and the other man, seemed to be rather close when they didn't have a third party wedged between them, if he had to guess by their whispering he would presume that they most likely bonded over some shared secrets but Lox couldn't be sure. Since Doc and Air were the only two he really knew, he couldn't make too many assumptions, though the eavesdropper didn't seem to be too hard to figure out. He seemed to make his intentions pretty obvious, even if he seemed to have some issues with boundaries. Looking around at the others Lox couldn't claim to know much else about them from first glance. Mitsuki was obviously a strong magic user given his previous encounter with her, but that was about all. He was glad she was alright though, if not just for the sake of making the travel a bit easier. Lox gave a small smile and a subtle nod in her direction once she was up and being greeted/interrogated by the others, a nod that would most likely go unnoticed in the dark crowded tunnels, but Lox wasn't sure he was ready to approach anyone just yet, and elbowing past a crowd to greet her would just cause unwanted attention. The man being carried was pretty mysterious to Lox as well, other than the injured leg he couldn't really get any info out of him on a first look. He could assume he was close with the man Doc was talking to, but the man seemed to be the strongest of the group, so obviously he's just the most suited to the task of carrying someone.

After taking his time to observe everyone to what little extent he could, Lox simply shrugged and pushed the thoughts into the back of his head, just in time for the doc to halt everyone in their tracks. His mood change caused Lox to tilt his head a bit. His anger at the absence of the woman named Clarent. He was a bit concerned but this was just another conversation he couldn't have, it must have been obvious to the doc that he would have no idea who the woman was. Lox simply maintained his silence in the background, and began focusing on the mild rumbling. He had begun to hope they weren't being followed, but figured coming up with a backup plan couldn't hurt, and began concocting another trick to slow them down in the event that they were caught. A wicked smirk crept up on his face as he removed both the brush, and the inkwell from his pack once again, and looked to his palm, hoping he would be able to draw accurately in the dim light.

Normally, Jack would have reacted to being scolded by the doctor, but something was off. The pupil of Jack's left eye was half orange, almost as if it was a meter, indicating something.

"The girl is fine, sprung back to life and ran off in a bratty fashion claiming to only care about things involving her destiny or some randomness like that. She shouldn't be here, or at least I assume she's competent enough to avoid coming here. Point is she's not our concern, the sky is."

Jack looked towards Air, Doc, and Lox with near mechanical focus. If his eyes were arms, they would be hold all three by their collars.

"Air, Doctor, new guy, all of you were here when it happened. Anything you know is something I need to know. Speak up or hurry up, we should get to the source of this soon, as long as those damn cops don't get in the way."

Jack's facial expression looked determined with stone cold precision, but behind the facade seemed almost like there was the smallest trace of panic.

Mitsuki lets herself get put down by the Doctor, and takes a moment to wipe some of the dust off her clothes. She straightens herself, taking a brief moment to analyze everyone and everything in the tunnels, her irises give way as her pupils widen a little to take in more light and see more clearly. "Oh." she says in reply to everyone's greeting. "It's nice to meet you more formally this time." She says to no one in particular and looks over to the doc for confirmation. Seeing he is occupied she turns back to the rest and nods lightly, not having anything further to add to any of the conversations.

The dim tunnels give off a slight feeling of tension, after the previous excitement and panic. The static taste still lingering in the air. Whatever decision the group makes would have to be soon, as it wont take forever for the kill-team to have secured the crater and made its way into the tunnels. Or worse... more of those tears happen, and perhaps this time burry the group underground.

With some slight of tail, Mitsuki rolls up her tail and hides it away under her clothes unnoticed, blushing very faintly. She turns back to Doc and rests her hand on his arm. "It's not safe to converse at this time... If we stay underground we may fall prey to those soldiers or a collapse... but if we go above ground we may find ourselves bombarded should more of those.... whatever that was appear..."

Sharpe turns back and looks back at the majority of the party. He looks 'round at Airgetlam and puts up a sign to halt for a moment.

"Hey, c'mon, the mage is right, we need to hoof it out of here. We can tear at each others' throats when we aren't faced with peril. He looks straight at Doc, and then at Jack, whose eye seems to be changing color in a way. Then again Doc's appear to be that way as well, so he doesn't question it. People with their eye color changes. At least his have a plausible reason and aren't tied to his emotional state. He stares straight at Doc, the brim of his hat almost concealing his own eyes.

"Now ain't the time. We need to get moving. Let's just run on silence for the rest of the way as we get into Southern District. We need a chance to recompose and come up with another plan of action. If we stay together and run quietly we live. If we stay here we die." He reasons. He turns around and motions for Air to get a move on down the way, and that he'll watch her back as they move.

"Oh is that right...?" RD's vision shifts to a pointed glare at the Doc as he listens to him mention the 'greater good'. Its a phrase that always irritated Richard. A phrase that seemed more like an excuse than anything else. "Well then, I hope you'll appreciate that I don't particularly have much trust in whoever ya left the traps with, and If he's looking for so much in return for repairing 'em, I'm pretty sure he doesn't have the 'greater good' in mind for you. Ya didn't need to lie to us, ya merely could've said ya didn't wanna have a big group for the meeting..."

He paused and rolled his eyes at the Doc, seeing that the man wasn't even listening, RD walked on till what he explained earlier finally clicked in the Doc's mind and he was asked to stop. "As ya know, some of us had business ta attend to," Richard glances at Sharpe, then back at the Doc; "...Air went after ya since yer lie was transparent to anyone wit' ears. Jian and Jack had an eye on Clarent... til she stumbled outta bed on a desperate mission ta hunt her Soul-trap down. I assume they went towards the market first, since that's where ya said you'd be... But since ya weren't... they headed inta these tunnels; its easier to get around faster down 'ere. They were then ambushed by some thugs. Luckily they all made it out ok for the most part due ta some help from a 'Ms. Keil', immediately after that Clarent split from them... probably thinkin' she could find her trap quicker alone... Reminds me of a certain person's actions... Anyway, her current whereabouts are unknown."

Richard then turned to Jack somewhat, "...Jack, as much as i'm sure we're all curious as ta what exactly that phenomena was, our main concern shouldn't be that, it should be gettin' outta 'ere and away from the guards assigned ta investigate whatever happened back there. Personally i feel we should get back and regroup, heal Jian and decide our next move from there." He turns back to the Doc, "Unfortunately we have no way of figuring out exactly where Clarent happens to be either so other than what we can guess about where she's headed, we'd be running like chickens with our heads cut off trying to find her. I'd also like a proper introduction ta all these... comrades ya seem ta have acquired..." He glances at the mage he still hasn't caught the name of, which he assumes to mean she wouldn't be sticking around long, and then glances towards Lox, who appears to be preparing something with a brush and inkwell, a wicked smile slowly creeping across the man's face; actions which alerted RD to be all but normal or inconspicuous.

"Oi, Lox! That's ur name right? The hell are ya up ta back there?"

Airgetlam watches the anger rise in the tunnel, and sighs looking away. Can't they just stow it?

She moves on ahead a few paces, then looks back to find RD asking what Lox is doing. She steps up to plate.

"He's a kind of mage himself, what he's doing is how he works his magic. It's rune-based." She says, giving the man a stern look. She keeps soldiering on ahead, keeping eyes on what's in front, as well as tabs on the ceiling, watching in case it decides to collapse, that way she can relay to the group to get back. She checks behind the group every so often as well, keeping an eye on the possibility of getting ambushed. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out the stealth device she was given, keeping it handy in case she has to beat a hasty retreat. She mumbles extremely quietly under her breath, low enough that she is inaudible.

Can't you just put aside your shit for one second? I swear, why does everyone have to make such a big fuss within danger of getting turned into a thin red mist?! You don't see me making such rubbish!

Lox looked to the man who was calling him out on his actions, he opened his mouth so as to respond and explain his thinking, but he was quickly cut off by Air who had decided to throw out a rushed introduction for him. After she was done Lox raised a brow and watched her walk off muttering under her breath, clearly she was stressed out and Lox began to wonder if the drama in the tunnels was working her nerves. Either way he sighed a bit and shook his head, clearly she needed to calm down, the men were left in a steamy fog and the group had a big head start it seemed to him like she was just getting worked up over- before he could even finish the thought he felt another tremor rumble through the tunnel. Okay maybe she had a point.

Once she was finished with the rushed introduction Lox continued painting runes onto the palms of his hands, when he was finished, each palm was adorned with the runes that had granted him his stone gauntlet during their little misadventures prior to the escape. Once he finished he removed his backpack, and placed the items back into it as he finally turned to the swordsman to answer him directly.

"Yeah you're right, my name is Lox, and as Air said these are indeed runes." Lox lifted his palms to show off the intricate designs, each design consisting of a large diamond shape, with the bottom point forming a teardrop shape, and within each of those shapes, a smaller diamond shape with lines crossing through the middle connecting each corner of the smaller diamond. Lox doubted the designs were visible in the dim light of the tunnel but he still figured they were worth showing off. After showing off the designs he let his hands drop, being careful not to smudge the ink as he continued. "I figured these might be able to help us if the squad starts to catch up to us, obviously drawing them on my hands makes them easier to use in a pinch." Lox takes a moment to stop himself from launching into a full on rant on the runes, and instead simply finishes with: "I don't believe I got your name."

Doctor Atrium listens to all the answers, none of which makes him happy. He inhales lots of air, getting ready to rant, when he feels the tremors as well as Mitsuki talking to him, He lets out all the air he breathed in out in one big sigh. He looks at Mitsuki, his face shows that she is slightly ashamed of his outburst.

"You're right...This isn't the time nor the place to talk and act like hot headed pricks." He looks at everyone. "I am sorry...Lets just get out of here..."

With that Doc starts hastily walking down the tunnel they said would bring them back to the house. After a bit of walking, he leans down to Mitsuki who is by his side and whispers so that only she can hear him.

"I am glad you came back, but I do wish you hadn't just left me alone like you did...Where did you go? How long are you going to stay with us? I don't mind that you leave the group. You have your own life to live and I understand that. Just let me know when you are going to leave. I like to know where my pet cat wanders off to." While he is talking, he looks calm but serious but when he says his last sentence, he gives her a playful smile.

The group follows Doc, with him, Mitsuki and Sharpe leading the group towards the south end of the tunnels. Mitsuki listens as the Doctor whispers to her, leaning close so she can hear him, as he is speaking very quiet to ensure no one would hear him. Being caught off-guard she jumps just a little and stares at him with a blush on her face. She quickly calms down and nods to herself as she thinks of how to answer him. "Well... I knew you would have been fine, although I didn't think I would end up being gone for as long as I had been. You were out maybe 20... or 30 minutes based on how fast you returned to Central to have been there when that anomaly hit." She takes a quick breather as the group continues to move towards the exit. Still no signs of followers, or any more eruptions so far. "I had some business I needed to take care off in the northern district, though one thing led to another and I ended up at the southern district markets picking up some stuff... I saw the others so I figured It wouldn't hurt to stop by the house real quick and get caught up on the situation." she looks off to the side, looking at Sharpe who is walking just a little bit further ahead of them. Fortunately he seems caught up in his own thoughts or whatever and isn't paying any attention to their little conversation. She gives Doc an approving nod, implying she will let him know if she ends up parting with the group, then adjusts her hat a little and continues to walk upright. Apparently finished with the conversation.

Not too much time passes, and the tension has fallen a little by now. The group arrives at the very same entrance that Jian had clumsily thrown himself off the stairs and gotten himself injured once again. Even before making their way up the stairs to one of the roads it becomes very apperant that a lot of the populous seems to have left the area. People are likely either inside their houses or taking shelter after the shocking events that happened just moments prior. It's an unimagineable thing to have happened. As if time and space got torn open by invisible hands and something alien thrown into their world. It's almost terrifying to imagine, but then again... there may be far worse found in simpler things. Deep topics aside, the group arrives at a crossroads, leading between the tunnels, the main road and the markets. They will have to cross the markets or go around them to get to the high-class district where they're house resides.

Sharpe, having been on point, pokes his head out into the open, looking all directions. There doesn't seem to be much to worry about besides potential city guard, though they all should likely be more concerned with the calamity. Intelligent use of garrison however would suggest some be left in the districts. Nevertheless, coast seems clear, so he signals for the rest of the party to move up.

"Markets or around another way, markets seem to offer more concealment." he says. He's honestly not interested in any more squabble, his mind is in tactical mode.

Richard turns back towards Air a bit, listening to her cliffnotes version of Lox's abilities, he senses a bit of an edge in her voice, but doesn't pay much mind to it; Being this irritated made everyone sound edgy to him. After she turns away, mumbling something to herself, Lox explains a bit more, showing off something on his hands RD couldn't quite make out in the din of the tunnels.

"Magic eh?" Richard glances off to the side, magic never really interested him, but the knowledge would be good, he had only heard of runes once before in reference to his blade. He couldn't help but feel that more info on this rare source of arcane ability could be useful in case he encountered it again. "...Maybe some time ya could tell me ah bit more 'bout em eh?" he pauses, then adds "...I'm RD. Like I told the lady there earlier. Nice ta meetcha. I'd shake, but..." He readjusts somewhat, Jian wasn't particularly heavy, but Richard was beginning to get a bit stiff, tensing due to the stress he was under.

They walked on and eventually reached the same entrance they first came through to enter the tunnels. After receiving an 'all clear' from Point Man, Richards moves up and begins to start towards the markets following Sharpe's choice. "Then lets go." He says as he places himself beside him somewhat, not really too worried about making it back to the house.

In RD's mind the worst of it was over, getting back to the house shouldn't be too hard. Best thing about having an injured person on your back is not many people ask questions that are too hard to answer, especially when something as off the wall as 'the sky literally tearing open' happens. Still he slows his pace allowing the others to lead, and attempting to stay between them somewhat.

His stomach growls a bit, and his face changes to a look of displeasure. As much as he criticized it earlier, he had to admit, meat buns sounded pretty good right now. "How ya doin' up there man? Ya alright or ya need me ta let ya off for a bit?" He asks, concerned that his passenger may need a quick break before they continue, a chance to stretch his legs a bit.

"I think I can stand for now... do you need a break? You've been carrying me around for a good bit now... Stairs also are left behind too, so there's nothing I can fall down to.", he says, his leg being a bit less in pain by now.

"You must be hungry. I think we should take a little bite now at least before we keep on moving. I don't think anything too sudden will happen right now, so we're... in the green?", he is not sure of what exactly to say.

He is putting off his backpack after being on the ground, opening it up to reveal the pork buns followed by a nice smell of the food. Standing still is a little painful to him, but he's able to stand without any major issues right now.

"Each of you, take one, then we should keep going on. I don't like spending too much time standing around, eating", he exlaims, grabbing a bun, biting into it himself, then checking on his leg, seeing if he's seeing any injury on the outside. It's a bit blueish, but he can walk, not fast, but he can keep going if not carried by someone.

Airgetlam stows her crossbow and looks around as she emerges from the tunnel entrance. Good to see some familiar surroundings for once, instead of being lost with the ever-constant threat of those creatures they encountered having to be accounted for. She walks out into the open and looks into the tunnel again. Assuming there won't be any more terrestrial instability, it should suffice as a covert and efficient means to traverse the city. As she passes Jian, she takes a porkbun and bites into it. She realizes its' definitely satisfying, seeing as how the last time she ate was probably when she left - in fact, she couldn't even remember if she had eaten then even. She walks a bit more, taking a few more bites, and she looks back towards the southern district.

"I hope she's ok." she mumbles, remembering the ice-woman they encountered.

She begins simply walking towards the markets, she just wants to lay down on a bed or sofa and veg out at this point.

Lox smiles a bit awkwardly due his embarrassment of having missed the man mentioning his name earlier. "Oh I'm sorry I must've missed that, nice to meet you RD." He chuckles a bit at the comment about shaking his hand and shakes his head a bit. "Nah it's fine, I don't think many people would wanna shake with a man that has ink all over his hands, it'd just be unpleasant for both of us. I don't wanna redraw them."

Lox simply watches as RD lets the other man off his shoulders, only to have the man bring out food for the group. Even though he could feel his stomach rumbling and gurgling as they walked past the admittedly delicious smelling meat buns, Lox decided not to take any as he passed the man. He figured they couldn't have anticipated his arrival so what were the chances they had enough for him, plus with the ink all over his hands he was pretty sure no one would appreciate him touching the food. He simply continued with the group, keeping an ear and an eye out for any trouble coming their way, though they did seem to be mostly in the clear for the time being.

When the group walks out of the musky tunnel, Doctor Atrium smiles. He is glad to be out of them tunnels of death. He walks over to Jian and takes the pork bun. He pulls out one of his daggers and cuts it in half. He walks over to Lox handing him one of the halfs.

"Here you go. I am sure you must be hungry. Thank you for all your help. When we get back to the house, you can stay in my room if there aren't any extra rooms. I have the biggest room so I can heal people. Just don't make a mess."

He chuckles at his last statement and walks over to Mitsuki before Lox can decline the food. He hands her the other half of the pork bun.

"Here, you need to eat as well. I still have the snacks you gave me." He then pulls the small bag around and pulls out some of the crackers. "Thank you for agreeing and welcome to our rag tag group."

When he is done, he walks a little bit ahead of everyone and looks around. The only people around still are the merchants, but they are packing up their sales quickly so they can get out. Doc then looks up at the sky and sees the moon rising. Tomorrow it will be full.

"Please don't let anything happen while I am away the next two days...I should talk to the others about it. It would only be right thing to do. For  the greater good. I hope they will still like me...trust me."

By now, both of Jack's eyes had turned orange

"Damn rag tag group of freaks...lack any sense of obedience. hmph, good thing obedience is something I require...Although their lack of courage could be worry some...no...doesn't matter, as long as they can buy me time...and that's only if
    ...
    ...
    hmph
    lambs
    all of them, lambs"

With a single blink, Jack's eyes returned to their normal lavender hue. His facial expression was somewhat confused, as if he had blanked out for a while, before returning to his casual gentle and some what quirky smile. Jack takes one of the pork buns and eats at a regular pace as the hunger in his stomach want him to swallow the pork bun in one gulp while his taste buds want him to eat as slowly as possible to enjoy the taste.

    Jack walks over to Lox

"Lox was it. Pleased to make your acquaintance. Please do forgive me for all the ruckus I made when we were in the central district. I was merely on edge in the heat of the moment. So a mage are you. To be honest, I don't have full trust in magic with an exception of the doctor, but as a fellow inventor, I do have great respect for any field of research as heavily focused on scientific studies as yours, I guess."

Mitsuki gladly accepts the pork bun as the group continues along the markets. They move along with caution, but not so jumpy as to look suspicious. Afterall they are just some people making their way home after some disaster. A lot of people, come to think of it.
Fortunately enough the group manages to make it halfway down the market without any sort of interruptions. A surprising amount of merchants are still at their stands, though it looks like some of them are unavailable after that bit of chaos that happened a little while ago. As well some citizens still wander around the city, either unmoved or too busy to care about the anomaly. There are a lot more guards wandering about the area, with their emphasis seeming to be towards the central district as expected. Good thing the group left the worst behind.

The sense of urgency that Sharpe had has long since subsided. He walks along, retaining his stride rather than the characteristic bob that others would tend to have. He digs his hands into his pockets, his fingers feeling around for nothing in particular.

He watches the cavalcade of vendors and students of mercantile finish their dealings and proceed to start closing. Business will have to resume another day for them. He's surprised there really isn't more hysteria in the city, the rash of kidnappings and the quarantine have been compounded by the recent anomaly. The central district's lockdown is very likely to continue, rather than be lifted.

He turns around and starts walking backwards, careful to not let himself trip over anything.

"So we all cooled down a bit? Hopefully once we get home you can take a load off even more. We're not far, just act casual." He says and turns right back around, keeping a furtive eye out for any obstructions or developments that could impede their return to the house. He reflects on RD's anger however, how while there was no need to waste time, he can understand why he would be angry. You don't go off on your own unless you don't trust anyone. Going lone wolf has a perchance of getting you killed.

Richard stretches a bit after placing Jian down, then takes one of the buns with a "Thanks. If ya need any more help getting around feel free to let me know."

He chomps into it [the bun] as if biting into an apple, chewing each bite thoroughly in an attempt to savor the treat and not wolf it down like his instincts begged him to.

As he battered down his own instincts via sheer force of will, he took the opportunity to survey the current area, but his focus isn't the guards or the city militia, they're doing exactly what he figured they'd be doing, seeking the cause of the earlier disturbance. No,what draws his attention is the odd sense of nonchalance he felt from the people who remained in the area despite the recent event. Life goes on of course, but at this point he felt that the people here were just purposely ignoring all of the odd occurrences.

"There's definitely something off with this City, no two ways about it."

RD takes another bite and ignores Point-man as if he didn't hear the question, as if he was asking everyone but him, still staring at the content passerby. He was of course, still pissed with The 'Good Doctor's' recent actions, but for the sake of making it back in once piece he had decided to drop it for the time being. RD knew deep down that this was a problem that needed to be addressed ASAP otherwise it was bound to be an even bigger problem later on.

He didn't plan on making the same mistakes as he did last time he and the Doc were together. Although the others were right, now wasn't the time, it didn't mean it was over, not by any stretch at all. He merely needed to find a more passive way of showing the man the consequences of his actions...

"Let's move on." He mentioned a bit somberly after finishing his meal. He wanted to ask the stragglers who still remained in the district a few questions relating their thoughts on current events, but yet again, not a good time, not with everyone in such a lackluster condition. So he couldn't see any point in delaying their arrival at the base any further. Rest is what he felt the group needed now.

Jian nods to everyone taking a bun, not saying too much at the given moment. He eyes down everyone just now realizing how tense they actually are. He bites his lower lip a bit in suspense, not too sure on how to calm the people. Having handed everyone that wanted to a porkbun, he bites into one himself, then walking up to RD. Then whispering to him.

"Hey, you look just as tense as the others in a sense. Thanks for having me covered back there, being the only person that actually worried about my well being in the first place. You see... At first when I saw you, I thought you're just the typical kind of person, grumpy, mean and out to just smash everything in your path. I believe now that I was proven wrong so... Yeah... Thanks."

He pats his shoulder with a smile, trying to clear RDs mind from some stress he must've been having. He looks around himself, things are not the best quite yet.

"Look, just let nobody drag you down, I am sure there'll be a moment to talk all this once it's over, where everyone can speak their mind. Up until then... we should get going."

Airgetlam finishes eating her bun and looks around. Seeing nothing of real immediate interest, she steps over to Doc's side and nudges his arm, smiling a little as she does so. She figures a certain proposition might ease him up a little.

"Hey, I recall a while ago, you wanted to have a look at my arm, right? How about when we get home, you do so? I figure you can get that out of the way at least on your list. Oh, and some talk of protraction would do wonders, wouldn't it?" She asks.

Lox's attention turns to the doc as he is handed half of his pork bun, he was ready to object the offer due to his not wanting to take any part of what he assumed was the docs only source of food. He opened his mouth to object, but it seemed as soon as the doc had approached, he was gone, so instead Lox let out a small sigh and begrudgingly took a bite of the admittedly delicious bun. The mentioning of a room and a home had not gone unnoticed by Lox, but he still wasn't sure how the others would react to something like that, and he still wasn't confident they would be as open to the idea as the doc was.

Though he barely had any time to think on the matter before he was approached by someone else. Lox raised a brow as the man referred to him as a 'fellow inventor' he wasn't really sure how the man could figure that out from their first meeting, especially given the fact that Lox had yet to actually invent anything aside from a few spur of the moment runes. Nonetheless Lox didn't want to shrug the man off so after another quick bite from the bun he began to respond. "Well I'm not sure I would consider myself an inventor just yet, I haven't really invented anything." Lox reached back into his pack to pull out the small, slightly thick disc of aluminium which he had shaped a rune into prior to his induction into the group. "This is really the only thing I can claim to have made, and it's far too dangerous for any practical use as is." He frowned a bit before tucking it away once again and taking another bite of the bun as he spoke, chewing while he spoke may have come across as a bit rude, but he did grow up on a farm after all. "I'd say magic has just as much a place in modern inventing as anything else though, truly great creations can only come from an open mind, and while protraction may have a much larger hold on technology nowadays, I like to think runes can become the new norm very easily." Lox gives the man a small smile before finishing with a simple question. "By the way I don't believe I got your name."

While Doctor Atrium is thinking, he isn't so deep in them as to miss Airgetlam walking up to him. When she nudges his arm, he looks at her and gives her a faint smile. He listens to what she says and nods.

"I would like to look at your arm, but I would rather wait on doing so. I don't want Jack to be breathing down my neck as do so. If you recall, he wanted to as well. But when we get back, I would love to talk and teach you about protraction. But I do have to warn you. If your arm is made of pure silver, it might make it harder to use protraction. But I don't see it stopping you completely."

As they walk towards the house, he notices that there are a lot more people out then he thought there would be. He frowns at this and looks at Air.

"This isn't right. Why are there so many people out? A black...thing, just showed up out of no where and made a massive crater and messed with the weather...but the people here are still going about their day as if nothing happened. I don't like it."
