Lox trailed behind the group, feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the people he was now traveling with. He mostly remained quiet and kept to himself, unable to add anything of value to any particular conversation. Plus he didn't want to add to the tension that seemed to be growing between Doc, the man with the large sword, and the third man they now seemed to be branding as an eavesdropper. Lox smirked to himself and simply observed the situation as they walked, and made a mental note to keep away from the man on the off chance he found himself with any sensitive secrets.
Still it amused Lox to see the others fall into what seemed to be some familiar roles to their respective persons, Air being on edge and cautious rushing to the front of the group with a man he assumed was at least somewhat similar. Maybe not as on edge as her but he seemed to be quite content with taking point alongside her. Doc and the other man, seemed to be rather close when they didn't have a third party wedged between them, if he had to guess by their whispering he would presume that they most likely bonded over some shared secrets but Lox couldn't be sure. Since Doc and Air were the only two he really knew, he couldn't make too many assumptions, though the eavesdropper didn't seem to be too hard to figure out. He seemed to make his intentions pretty obvious, even if he seemed to have some issues with boundaries. Looking around at the others Lox couldn't claim to know much else about them from first glance. Mitsuki was obviously a strong magic user given his previous encounter with her, but that was about all. He was glad she was alright though, if not just for the sake of making the travel a bit easier. Lox gave a small smile and a subtle nod in her direction once she was up and being greeted/interrogated by the others, a nod that would most likely go unnoticed in the dark crowded tunnels, but Lox wasn't sure he was ready to approach anyone just yet, and elbowing past a crowd to greet her would just cause unwanted attention. The man being carried was pretty mysterious to Lox as well, other than the injured leg he couldn't really get any info out of him on a first look. He could assume he was close with the man Doc was talking to, but the man seemed to be the strongest of the group, so obviously he's just the most suited to the task of carrying someone.
After taking his time to observe everyone to what little extent he could, Lox simply shrugged and pushed the thoughts into the back of his head, just in time for the doc to halt everyone in their tracks. His mood change caused Lox to tilt his head a bit. His anger at the absence of the woman named Clarent. He was a bit concerned but this was just another conversation he couldn't have, it must have been obvious to the doc that he would have no idea who the woman was. Lox simply maintained his silence in the background, and began focusing on the mild rumbling. He had begun to hope they weren't being followed, but figured coming up with a backup plan couldn't hurt, and began concocting another trick to slow them down in the event that they were caught. A wicked smirk crept up on his face as he removed both the brush, and the inkwell from his pack once again, and looked to his palm, hoping he would be able to draw accurately in the dim light.
