The Risen are the dead brought to life through necromancy or proposed miracles. These souls are trapped inside an often times dead body, or forced to take over a living body based on their masters will and power. Most common Risen are put to rest when their connection to the necromancer is cut off or they are put through a ritual. If their bodies come to harm and they die, they are forced to roam the world looking for a new host. |
Savage Servant
Their names are given to them due to their berserkerish nature. Savage Servants are zombies who preserve their energy untill combat, usually resting, sitting, or appearing in a sleeping or tranced state. Once commanded to attack a target, they expend all their power trying to tear into it as fast as possible. Their speeds can reach inhuman heights though they lack in strength to follow up. They are very fragile given their stature and often fall prey to combat fatigue. A Savage Servant can only be raised by a necromancer and does not possess any free will.

Zombie
These creatures were once living but have been met with a terrible fate. The deceased come to life, not by the will of a necromancer but merely by their own. Some suggest they have unfinished business in the world, others say they are a byproduct of magic irradiation. To this day they remain as an unexplained phenomena. Unlike in urban legends, Zombies do not pass their affliction on to others, and are generally very passive beings. Some are even harmless. They can be put to rest by the same means as any undead, and are subject to pain if healed in any matter, though when killed they simply reanimate.
